Are You Ready For 2021?

Good morning and hope all is well. How are you? I hope you had an awesome weekend 😎. 

Well, we are down to the last week of 2020. It’s 2021 soon...Hope you are excited! Anyway, speaking about 2021 - I’m honestly still not sure about it 😂.

There is a mixed feeling between being ready for what God has promised me for or it is more like “Oh okay, so I’m still going to do that stuff? I’m not sure how to be excited. Is this really what it is?” - you know what I meant right? I do feel heavy on what to write this week. I just wanted to skip it...

So 2021? I don’t know actually...😐. Deep down, sometimes I questioned God. "Are you still the God Almighty?"

Until God reminded me about His covenant to His people/children and I was like “Okay God, this is heavy...”. I don’t know which season you are in right now but please receive this!

Maybe you are in a season like Noah now? God wanted to remind you about His covenant just like in the book of Genesis!

This the parable of “The Flood Recedes” (Genesis 8 : 1-22 NLT) and “God Confirms His Covenant” (Genesis 9 : 1-17 NLT). In Genesis 8 : 13-17 13 Noah was now 601 years old. On the first day of the new year, ten and a half months after the flood began, the floodwaters had almost dried up from the earth. Noah lifted back the covering of the boat and saw that the surface of the ground was drying. 14 Two more months went by, and at last the earth was dry!

15 Then God said to Noah,

16 “Leave the boat, all of you—you and your wife, and your sons and their wives. Release all the animals—the birds, the livestock, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—so they can be fruitful and multiply throughout the earth.” I’m sure you know the story. Living in the ark and surviving the flood was totally challenging, don’t you think? It can affect your mental health too.

Noah waited for a long time in the ark. It was then the time God told him to leave the boat when the flood recedes.

What if the boat that you are in right now has carry you this far and protected you from the flood? What if this is the time now that you should lifted back the covering of your boat and see what God has brought you to?

Just because you have been in the ark because of the flood for so long, you have forgotten the dry ground! Maybe this is your time to leave the ark! See what God has for you!

Now in Genesis 9 : 1-17, Verse 9 “I hereby confirm my covenant with you and your descendants”

Maybe because all that you have been through, you have forgotten if God still keeps His covenant/promises with you.

God confirms His covenant with you!

You will multiply! It may look your business or finances had been in a flood but God said you will multiply! What you have, it will be multiplied! God has kept you all this time in the ark and now you get to see the dry ground!

You may feel depressed because you cannot see what is around you because of the flood, but now you do! You see, God has placed rainbow as a sign of His covenant! Your whole family will be saved!

You may have forgotton what joy feels like but God is returning your joy! You have His favor!

The gospel may be old but it shall not kneel! What God has promised you, you will see it! 2021 - This is your dry ground!
